The current main building of the castle dates back to the early 19th century after renovations. The magnificent castle stood empty for 150 years before Jan and Manuela Kube acquired it and carefully renovated it in accordance with historical preservation standards before opening the extensive and impressive Toy Museum in 1988. It is well worth a visit, as dolls, dollhouses and kitchens, rocking horses, tin toys, games, children's books, and tin figures from children's rooms of bygone eras evoke nostalgic memories. The opulent Renaissance Hall and the private chapel can also be visited. Opening hours: From Good Friday to the first Sunday of Advent, Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Special openings are possible at any time for registered groups of 15 or more people. With the inn on your right and the entrance to the castle on your left, follow the road for about 200 meters, then turn right to the well-equipped playground with picnic benches and numerous play equipment next to the Ehe stream.
