The historic salt pans within the Stagnone di Marsala islands reserve are evocative and among the most visited attractions in the province of Trapani. These salt pans are characterized by windmills and tanks that turn red, due to the terracotta bricks. You can go on an organized trek to visit the salt pans or a boat excursion to reach the Stagnone island.
