Mountain biking
As part of a competition by students of the University of Applied Arts under the direction of Prof. Erwin Wurm, artworks for a sculpture axis were selected by a jury, which also consisted of people from Maissau. One of the selected objects is the lighthouse by the artist Lukas Troberg. The approximately 26-meter-high lighthouse was erected on Maissauer Berg in the area of the old B4 intersection Eggenburg. The lighthouse with the themed trail is part of the tourist measures of the project „Maissau becomes violet” and is another tourist attraction for our large municipality.
