Great viewpoint over Runyon Canyon Park. The trails to get up to the viewpoint can be busy, it is only a short distance from Sunset Boulevard, but it is worth stopping for a bit to enjoy the view.

The Four Ladies of Hollywood is a 30-foot-tall sculpture on a traffic island at the intersection of Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue. It consists of an Art Deco gazebo flanked by the heads of four iconic Hollywood women and topped with a tall spire. Officially called the Hollywood and La Brea Gateway , no one really calls it that. The sculpture was commissioned in 1993 by the Los Angeles Community Redevelopment Agency Art Program as part of an effort to spruce up an otherwise dull stretch of road in Los Angeles. The project was awarded to director/production designer Catherine Hardwicke , and her design is intended to pay tribute to four pioneering women of color who pushed boundaries during Hollywood's Golden Age: Mae West, Dorothy Dandridge, Anna Mae Wong, and Dolores Del Rio.
