Well-preserved Austro-Hungarian fortification from the First World War. Directly on the road on the Predil Saddle is the Predil Battery, built in 1895 to monitor the southern positions of the Sella Nevea. During the First World War, however, the positions were relocated to other locations. The fortress is still very well preserved. From up there, you can also enjoy a view of Lake Predil, or Raibl.
