We went the other way, taking the left (upper) path from Marguns at point 2300, pushing the bike for a maximum of 100 meters. From point 2489 Munt da la Bêscha (highest point), the entire route is rideable (the path has been heavily reconditioned and is in good condition) all the way to Samedan.

The Evangelical Village Church of Samedan is one of the most beautiful churches in the canton of Graubünden. It was built on the site of the documented St. Anthony's Chapel in 1770/71 through renovations and new construction. The organ was installed in 1772. The tower, built in 1773, is Samedan's landmark.

Given the alpine environment, layering is key. Even in summer, weather can change quickly. We recommend moisture-wicking base layers, a mid-layer for warmth, and a windproof/waterproof outer shell. Don't forget gloves, sunglasses, and a helmet. Always check the forecast before your ride.
