Disastrous bridge – Thanks to the push assistance, I was able to get my bike up easily, but going down was no fun for me alone with the heavy e-bike and thick tires. Luckily, I had just started and still had strength in my arms. It was very steep, the tires (Johnny Watts) barely fit into the rail... The front wheel popped out of the rail on the way down, and I almost fell down the stairs with my bike. Something like that on an official bike path, with the intersection right next to it... I wasn't expecting that.

It's beautifully laid out and a nice photo opportunity, but crossing the bridge requires two people, as it's quite steep. People with e-bikes, in particular, should not attempt to push the bikes up or down alone.

You have to lift the bike up and go through the lock. From above you have a beautiful view of the lock.

Parey lock. You have to drag the bike over the bridge

The bridge was also easy to cross with a pedelec. Reminds a little of the Spreewald bridges 😀

The city of Burg has a super renovated and well-kept Bismarck Tower, but unfortunately it can only be visited by appointment. Nevertheless, you can get quite close to admire the 27 meter high tower, which was built in 1907.
