Mural Masurca Fogo – Kasinostr 27 The Pina Bausch dance piece MASURCA FOGO, created in 1998 on a trip to Lisbon and a co-production with EXPO 98 Lisbon and the Goethe-Institut Lisbon, meets the Portuguese artist Tamara Alves from Lisbon, who, in a sculptural language inspired by urban aesthetics, speaks of raw passion rather than rational consideration. The motif depicts the figure of the Balloon Woman in one of her most famous scenes. A big thank you goes to Julie Shanahan, who made this figure so famous and allowed us to immortalize it as a mural.
