This trailhead sits right along Ripple Way and provides direct access to the Pink Trail Loop and the park’s network of forested walking trails. From the gravel roadside entrance, you'll quickly leave the neighbourhood behind and enter a beautiful wooded setting of mature trees and gently rolling terrain, with trail maps and signage marking the start of the route. There is limited roadside parking along the shoulder near the trailhead, and there is no parking fee for park access.

Pink Trail is the longest loop in Kinnikinnick Park, and is an easy forested route through tall trees and gentle terrain. The trail winds through quiet sections of coastal forest with soft dirt underfoot, making it popular for walking, trail running, birdwatching, and relaxed outings. It’s well-marked and easy to follow, perfect for a lovely stroll in the calm woodland setting with occasional glimpses into the surrounding parkland.

Kinnikinnick Park is a beautiful forested park in Sechelt, with a network of walking and biking trails that wind through towering trees, open green space, and quiet woodland. There are wide dirt paths and colour-coded routes that make it easy to explore at your own pace, and the park also includes sports fields, picnic areas, and a playground, making it a popular gathering place for families. The mature coastal forest, old stumps, and shaded trails give it a lovely, peaceful atmosphere that feels surprisingly tucked away.

The Triangle Lake Trail is the access route that brings you from the lower forest up toward the Triangle Lake Loop Trail. Starting from the Calvin Creek Trail, you follow a steady path through dense coastal rainforest, with sections of roots, dirt trail, and a few small creek crossings along the way. It’s a gradual climb for about two kilometres. Keep an eye out for the junction, as this is where you turn off to begin the loop.

Reached via the forest trails in Sargeant Bay Provincial Park, Triangle Lake sits quietly surrounded by dense West Coast rainforest. When you get to the viewpoint, you’re looking out over a small, marshy lake framed by trees, with only partial openings through the forest. It’s not a wide-open viewpoint, but the setting feels calm and remote. The trail continues around the lake on a loop, mostly through forest, so you’ll spend more time immersed in the landscape than right along the shoreline.

At the start of the Calvin Creek Trail in Sargeant Bay Provincial Park, you’ll see a small parking area right by the trail entrance that can look like the main place to park. This is actually reserved for buses, so it’s best not to leave your car here. Instead, continue down to the main Sargeant Bay Provincial Park car park, located about half a kilometre away. From there, you can walk back to the trailhead and begin the route toward Triangle Lake.

Langdale Falls is a 12-meter waterfall that cascades over a series of rocky ledges into a mossy canyon. To reach the falls, you’ll follow a trail system that passes through Sprockets Mountain Bike Park, so hikers may share parts of the route with mountain bikers.

The trail up to Langdale Falls is quite steep—so steep, in fact, that a climbing rope is installed to provide extra stability over one of the more challenging sections. The lower portion of the route passes through a network of trails and junctions within Sprockets Mountain Bike Park, so it’s a good idea to keep a map open on your phone while navigating.
