Here you should have a head for heights. Includes warning sign. The path is wide enough and the height is impressive.

Annot is a really charming village. It is served by a "tortillard" (nickname given in the French language to trains that go to the mountains). The village is known for its sandstone rock formations. You'll even see one right in the center of town! Small cobbled streets, a chapel which dominates the whole from the top of its cliff complete the picture of a very pleasant place.

Please note that the entrance to the King's Chamber is not indicated by any sign. When you come to a fault in the middle of very high sandstone blocks, there is a small triangle-shaped opening right there. You have to bend down a lot to enter but then you can easily move around (up to a point). If you arrive on the path at the edge of the precipice without having seen it, it means that you have missed it, retrace your steps.

The entrance to the chamber is hidden. If you go up from the bottom right under a few smaller boulders. You have to crawl through crookedly. At the very end, after a very narrow passage, you have a nice view, but nothing for people with claustrophobia. A second viewing platform can be climbed over a narrow gap.
