Salzburg is still quite busy due to the "Ruperti Days." So why not take a short hike in the neighboring Salzkammergut? A perfect decision in perfect weather.
The fourth day in a row was perfect hiking weather... I must have been very good 🤭... of course I had to take advantage of it, contrary to my plans (1x hiking, 1x chilling)!!!! And I was rewarded by the beautiful nature... views, sunbathing... simply wonderful 🥰🤩
Short but wonderful hike in perfect weather.
From the parking lot (4 euros) you go on a partly steep gravel road in the forest to the two huts. From there you follow a steep root and stone path to the Faistenauer Schafberg. The last part up to the summit cross is a bit exposed, but can also be done if you are afraid of heights. Then we went back to the hut and to the easy-to-reach Loibersbacher Höhe. Great view of Dachstein, Schafberg, Schober, Fuschlsee!
Such brilliant weather today.... So get out and up the mountain....
