The Loibersbacher Höhe in the Osterhorn Group is located at an elevation of approximately 1,456 meters and is a popular destination for hikers. The ascent takes you through open meadows and rustic alpine pastures. At the top, you'll enjoy unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains, such as the Schafberg and Schlenken. The area is also ideal for snowshoe hikes and ski touring in winter.

From the summit cross you have an amazing view in all directions whether to Schober / Lidaun towards Fuschelsee .. or Untersberg .. the Schmittenstein or Bleckwand .. or the legendary Schafberg and in winter it takes about half an hour to 1 hour to reach the Faistenauer sheep mountain
