On (hopefully) the last hot Sunday of this year, we hiked from Forsthaus Heldenstein to Helmbachweiher.

From the parking lot at Forsthaus Heldenstein, we followed the "Naturfreundehaus" hiking symbol to the Naturfreundehaus Kohlbachtal.

After refueling there, we walked through the idyllic Kohlbachtal to Helmbachweiher. On the approximately 2.4 kilometers to get there, there are some Wichtel (gnomes) to discover.
