Hiking

The hiking path from the Helmbachweiher to the Naturfreundehaus Lambrecht is beautiful and runs parallel to the babbling Kohlbach with the hiking trail "Pfälzer Hüttensteig". This hiking trail is largely located in a deeply cut and therefore shady (cool) valley: particularly pleasant in summer, but still with some damp spots; At other times of the year and after / in rainy weather, it is less recommendable because it is very muddy!
For cyclists there is a forestry path that runs on the other side of the Helmbach.

Mountain biking

Very nice trail from the Helmbach pond to Naturfreundehaus Lambrecht in Kohlbachtal. Runs along the Kohlbach along, which brings really pleasant and cooling air in heat. Also popular with hikers.
