Hiking

The Saufels, also called Ungeheuerstein, is a Bunter sandstone rock (ND-7312-097) above the Bockental valley. Its approaches are very different. Coming from the north from the Bockental, a narrow, steep path leads to the rock. Coming from the south, a level path to the rock is indicated by a tree trunk.
