"Helfenstein" is a huge sandstone rock, on which once a smaller castle stood, which probably belonged to the castle Falkenstein.

Climbing the rock is possible, but very dangerous!

The Helfenstein rises out of nowhere in front of you if you take the small left turn instead of heading straight up to the Falkenstein. A truly insane rock; I wonder how nature manages to create something like that. Amazing.

Hiking

A detour only makes sense, since the Helfenstein is not far from the path or you want to visit all the castles, but there is nothing to see except a solid rock massif and sandstone steps carved out of the rock.
