The Catholic Church of the Exaltation of the Cross was built in Františkovy Lázně in 1812-1819. From an architectural point of view, this church is one of the most beautiful Empire church buildings that the Czech Republic has to offer. Its front is adorned by two pairs of mighty columns with tympanums, which is unusual for a church. The interior of the church, decorated with frescoes by the painter Kandler with statues of the church's patron saint – St. Helena and the Emperor Constantine is interesting.
