The weather column (meteorological column) stands since 1882 in Františkovy Lázně. Today it is about 50 m from its original location - in a small park not far from the gas bath.
The weather column served mainly for the purposes of the spa guests, who could read precise data about the climate in the spa here. One of the values that are important for the healing effect of the treatment is the barometric pressure, which affects the amount of carbon dioxide emitted.
