Gravel riding
It covers an almost 8 km long section of the Gać river valley (a left tributary of the Pilica) between the towns of Jasień and Spała. The aim of protection in the reserve is the preservation for scientific, educational, and landscape purposes of naturally developed plant communities – mainly ash-alder floodplain forest and currant-alder swamp forest, associated with an inland lowland river, as well as habitats of protected and rare plants and animals.
