For a very short time, your hike is in the trees; soon, Mount Anne Track becomes exposed and stays that way. The ridge between Mount Anne and Mount Eliza is not as steep as the beginning stretch, but it is technical and exposed. Be sure to have good navigation skills, layers, snacks and water, as this is a long track that some hikers break into a few days.
