Mount Anne stands 1,423 metres above sea level in the remote southwest of Tasmania. It is easy to see for miles around, jutting out into the skyline of the Anne Range. The climb is steep and passes the famous Tarn Shelf, which offers significant exposure. To attempt this hike, come prepared for a long day, and remember that the summit is still only halfway.
