    Located atop the former spillway of the Glines Canyon Dam, this overlook offers visitors sweeping vistas of the vast valley that once cradled the Lake Mills reservoir. Lake Mills came into existence during the construction of the Glines Canyon Dam from 1925 to 1927, submerging the region formerly known as Smokey Bottom. From this vantage point, you can also observe the Elwha River's vivid blue-green waters meandering through the 200-foot (61-meter) deep Glines Canyon below.
