Monument by Gerhard Hartmann for the Jewish columnist Jakob Altmaier (1889–1963), who worked for the Flörsheimer Zeitung in the 1920s under the pseudonym “Gänsekippelschorsch”. Persecuted during the Third Reich, later a member of the Bundestag and honorary citizen of Flörsheim.
