Like everywhere in Lichtenfels, you can also find wickerwork figures in the Reundorf district. Here, they are the "Dragon Riders."
Children turn everyday life into adventures: a tree trunk becomes a dragon, sand becomes a castle, paint becomes a picture, a puddle becomes an ocean, plans become surprises, and habit becomes life.
The trunk of the so-called bog oak was found during gravel mining in Reundorf and donated by the Schramm gravel works in Trieb from the Kösten/Reundorf gravel mine. The group of figures was created by Irmgard Wissing from Bad Bevensen.
