On the country road stands the old monastery mill, which was in operation until the beginning of this century. The mill sails were locked in a cross shape in memory of Christian Michael Rottbøll, who was killed in the freedom struggle during World War II. He was the uncle of the current owner, who lives with his family in the 6th generation of the Rottbøll lineage as the owner, and resides at Børglum Kloster, taking care of it.
On the north side of the mill hill, which is incidentally a burial mound, is the Sct. Bodil's Spring.
