In the square in front of the Maria SS sanctuary. della Fontana, stands the monument to the Madonna della Fontana inaugurated on 16 April 1990 by Cardinal Jozef Tomko. Nearby stood the monumental fountain, built by the Benedictines to meet the water needs of the monastery of San Pietro and the Terrae Maioris farmhouse.
