Hiking

Wine has been grown on the slopes of the Staffelberg since the Middle Ages. In Horsdorf, the area under cultivation was 5.08 hectares in 1870, before phylloxera brought an end to wine-growing. After the Second World War, wine-growing was revived with three plots owned by three families. Today, there is only one vineyard with 12 acres and 490 vines of the Müller-Thurgau grape variety. The pressed grape juice is served as "Löwenthaler".
