Embark on the Templeton, Mesa and Yucca Trail Loop for an easy hike through Palmer Park, covering 2.3 miles (3.7 km) with an elevation gain of 295 feet (90 metres). This route typically takes around 1 hour and 3 minutes to complete. You will discover a unique rock garden, characterized by immense granite outcroppings and natural sculptures. From the mesa, you can enjoy panoramic views of Colorado Springs and the majestic Front Range peaks, including Pikes Peak. Keep an eye out for the distinctive Valley of the Druids and the Druid Priest rock formation as you explore the Templeton Trail section.
