Embark on an easy hike along the Ridgeline Trail, a 3.6-mile (5.8 km) route that guides you through diverse forest ecosystems. You will experience open oak-hickory forests giving way to shady hemlock ravines, with a gentle elevation gain of 343 feet (105 metres). This pleasant journey, estimated to take about 1 hour and 37 minutes, offers a chance to discover beautiful water features like a small waterfall and a spring, adding to the trail's serene atmosphere.

When planning your visit, remember that the Ridgeline Trail is part of a larger network around the Pocono Environmental Education Center. While generally considered easy, some sections do feature steep and rocky terrain, which might be more challenging for less experienced hikers. Parking is usually available at the center, making it a convenient starting point for your outdoor adventure.

This trail provides a wonderful opportunity to explore the varied landscapes of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. As you hike, keep an eye out for wildlife, including spring peepers, especially near the seasonal wetlands and vernal pools. The route showcases a fascinating contrast between different forest types as you traverse hillsides and rocky sections, highlighting the rich natural environment of the region.
