Hiking
The castle ruins in Brustem, in Sint-Truiden, have been renovated since September 2023 and are now open to the public. The tower castle was founded in 1170 by Louis I, the Count of Loon. After 30 years of scaffolding, visitors can now visit the castle via a bridge that rests on original bridgeheads.
