Following this brewing tradition, beer is brewed here once a year, as in many other places. The brewery festival begins with a morning pint. Throughout the day, bratwurst and steak are served, and in the afternoon, coffee and cake are offered.
Having been canceled for a long time, it was finally going ahead again. The brewing tradition has been upheld in Hellingen since at least 1716.
