Yes, the two lakes in a row are worth a visit. Especially the one at the back is a bit more idyllic. Seating is plentiful. On the hill you have a wonderful view in the direction of the same mountains, Veste Heldburg, Bleßberg and at the very edge of the forest in the direction of Schweickershausen, even of the Veste Coburg.
