A large part of the Bolderberg nature reserve consists of dry heathland. Especially the higher parts are rich in the typical heathland and sandy soil. As you can read elsewhere, this part of the nature reserve was given a name: the Gust Claesheide.

But the Bolderberg nature reserve forms a landscape with forests, marshes and grasslands, in which there is also an important part of 'wet heathland'. At this place there is an information board that explains what this wet heath is and how it is created here.
