Natuurpunt has a nice piece here with two pools, the first of which has a wooden viewing platform above the water's edge, an information board tells about the importance of pools and the animals that live there (hopefully back) and a picnic bench invites you to a moment of peace or something then.

Can be educational in summer but unfortunately flood area of the Mombeek in winter. Not passable for walkers. Boardwalks would have been appropriate here.
