Hiking
2 meters thick and 7 meters high, the powder magazine guaranteed the waterproofness necessary for the good conservation of gunpowder, thanks to the padded lead top.
The walls and powder magazines are an integral part of the city's defense system designed by the Serenissima.
To date, they are practically the only Venetian military structures that have remained intact, as planned, also through the maintenance works carried out over time.
