The Biblioteca Rector Antonio Machado y Núñez is the central library of the University of Seville. It offers an extensive collection of books, documents and historical artefacts. The library is named after Antonio Machado y Núñez, an important figure in the history of the university.
One of the highlights of the library is the Fondo Antiguo, where all the books older than 100 years, manuscripts, facsimile editions, donations, etc. are kept. This collection is accessible to anyone over 18 years of age, with some restrictions to ensure security and the preservation of the heritage.
