After 1840, a new landscape park was created behind the Luisenbad building. In the northwestern end of the park, the city pond became the Schwanenses (Labutí jezírko) with a small
Island upgraded. In 1902 a wide promenade was built (the so-called “Westend Avenue”)
along the Schladabach (Statinný potok), which now connected the center of the health resort with the Amerika forest park. A tennis court was built in the middle in 1904.
