The Mülheim harbor bridge, the prestressed concrete bridge also known as the “Katzenbuckel” over the entrance to the Mülheim security harbor, provided the first connection from the northern part of the city over the peninsula called “Katzenkopf” in front of the harbor with the youth park located on the banks of the Rhine and the Rhine Park further south towards Deutz / downtown.
