    Piero's mills
The mills, built in the 18th century and restored in 1997, tell of the past. They date from a time when wheat was ground with stones, powered by the power of the Giona River, which flows into Lake Maggiore. The mills were built from local stone and wood and abandoned about 40 years ago.

Very nice and worth an exploration. One should definitely check the remains of the water channel at the mill at the end of the field, as well as take a walk to the place where the channel has begun one day.
