There are two ways up, from the west and east. I definitely recommend the ascent from the west as you walk in the shade in the morning, and you can then descend either from the east or west.
Personally, I found the west route better even though it is a little shorter and therefore steeper.

It's worth starting early in the morning. I left at 8.00h: The light is great and the climb is partly still in the shade! Brilliant!
