After long efforts of the local Innsbruck mountain bikers, the Nordketten singletrack was built. He is considered one of the heaviest trails in the world. With him, the Nordkettenseilbahn for mountain bikers was opened in the summer. A real treat for those who want to go further beyond the Seegrube.

On 15 July 1927, the construction of the aerial tramway by the company Adolf Bleichert & Co. from Leipzig-Gohlis, the world's leading cable car construction company, began on 9 July 1928, the first, 2,885 m long section Hungerburg Seegrube ( 1905 m above sea level). On 21 July of the same year, the second, upper, 752 m long section Seegrube-Hafelekar was opened.
