Look out over Innsbruck's rooftops like the watchmen of the Middle Ages did. For almost 450 years, they kept watch from the City Tower, warning citizens of fire and other dangers. The lower floors served as a prison. Visitors climb 133 steps to the 31-meter-high viewing platform. And not only can you see medieval alleyways, but also the Bergisel, Patscherkofel, the Inn, and the Nordkette mountains.
