The two-story Lower Saxony house from 1771, like the staircase from 1760, is a listed building. These include an oven, a coach house from 1828, household, handicraft and agricultural exhibits, a furnished living room, a weaving room with two chairs and a cottage garden. In addition to the permanent exhibition about the local poet Friedrich Freudenthal, there are exhibits from the Stone and Bronze Ages, old German currencies and elementary school utensils from bygone times. Friedrich Freudenthal (born May 9, 1849 in Fallingbostel in the Lüneburg Heath; died March 9, 1929 in Fintel) was one of the most important writers on the homeland of Lower Germany. The older of the two Freudenthal brothers grew up in Fintel from 1852 with his grandparents Brockmann, a sexton and teacher family.
