Definitely worth a trip in good weather. Dam tour, via ferrata, hiking or a high-altitude tour to the Wiesbachhorn, something for everyone.

The breathtaking view alone is worth the climb to the hut. In addition, there are the friendly hosts and the good food. The sunrise..... Glorious.

I was there yesterday with my dog. Unfortunately, we couldn't bypass the first ladder and he got stuck with his claw in one of the grates and fell off the ladder. Luckily, nothing worse happened. With large dogs that cannot be carried, please be careful..

Beautiful via ferrata with a breathtaking view of the Weißsee 👌. The ascent is certainly more pleasant. We chose the other direction. The passage over the dam was closed, so we had to take the path behind it with a descent and ascent.

A good place to undertake beautiful tours. The local gastronomy is unfortunately mediocre.

You have to go through the chimney if you want to reach the Lower and Upper Forchezkopf or the Grosser Wieshorn. The chimney is secured with a rope. Using a via ferrata set isn't absolutely necessary, but it's good for your mental health. The chimney is about 15 meters long, followed by a short section with a rope, maybe 5 meters. It's not really a problem; in my opinion, it doesn't qualify for category A.
