In warm weather you can cool off your feet here at the gorge. In the lower part of the Ochsenschlucht you can easily walk over the gravel into the stream.

Here you can find the Sandhof radar station with the "sleeping nests" http://www.radlerstation.at/schlafnester Something particularly unique right on the Drau cycle path R1 are our sleeping nests - 6 wooden houses - which we have newly built in the garden right next to our cycling station. Each of these nests is comfortably furnished, where our guests have the feeling of being able to linger and spend the night in the middle of nature. We also offer our sleeping nests to cyclists for just one night or to nature lovers who want to spend a holiday in our beautiful region. With us you can enjoy Carinthian hospitality to the fullest. Feistritz is a beautiful, small village, which is quiet and far away from the noise in the Drautal on the Drauradweg. It also has a very nice chapel in the middle of town.
