A beautiful pond in the Meetshovenbos forest, perfect for a stroll and a relaxing seat. A few herons are also regular visitors. An information board at the pond explains the control of the pearl-capped cup, which was found there in 2012, and the control of exotic species in general. Even during very dry periods, such as when this tip was written, the pond holds water, which can sometimes be considerably larger.

A second entrance to Meetshovenbos with parking for a few cars, not far from the cave and chapels of the Brustem Virgins. Here too, there's a small tree chapel, but it's broken and deserted. There are several benches and some pleasant seating areas made of tree trunks. One of the tree trunks bears this saying for those who need it: "Life is like riding a bicycle; to keep your balance, you must keep moving." Otherwise, there are a few signs and pointers to the most important forest spots. The entrance/rest area is located at the end/beginning of the long lane leading to the entrance of the dog meadow.
