It is possible to reach the lake from three different points: from the Seriana valley, starting from Valcanale, a hamlet of Ardesio and following the CAI trail number 220 that reaches the Alpe Corte refuge and, passing alongside numerous huts, goes up to the Branchino refuge and then to the lake; from the Brembana valley, from the town of Roncobello via a carriage road that touches the locality of Costa Superiore and the hamlet of Capovalle.
