As part of the 1999 Styrian State Exhibition on the theme of transport, a special destination for nature and hiking enthusiasts was created on the Tremmelberg: the striking observation tower Tower Power with its impressive double-tower architecture, inspired by the Seckau Abbey. From here, you have wonderful views of the surrounding landscape. At the foot of the tower, there is a refreshment station. Here you will find opening hours and further information: https://www.steiermark.com/de/Murtal/Aktivitaeten/Ausflugsziele/Jausenstation-am-Turm-im-Gebirge_isd_326814

A beautiful destination. Imposing tower structure with a managed tavern. Brisk ascent via 'Wolfsgrube'. The descent via 'Vorder-Tremmel' on the forest road makes it a circular route. Starting point: Sachendorf parking lot. The tower tavern is open continuously from May 1st - October 31st (10 am - 7 pm).

A visit to the press center at the Red Bull Ring is worthwhile, as it offers the best view of the track! 🏁🖥️ From above, you'll see every overtaking maneuver like a VIP—and almost feel like the race director himself.

Sleeping and feeling at home in an old castle with a long tradition and exciting history meets the highest standards. In each of the suites and rooms at the Hotel G'Schlössl Murtal, you'll find everything you need for well-being and relaxation. This includes fine fabrics, pleasant colors, comfortable seating areas, and, of course, modern technology, such as a flat-screen TV or the SuitePad. The village was first documented approximately 1,000 years ago, when it was owned by the Einödhof Castle estate. Einödhof Castle changed hands several times over the years. The castle ruins were gradually demolished over the years to prevent damage to the surrounding buildings. Today, only the castle's main tower and some dilapidated walls remain. Einödhof Castle is now privately owned. Under certain conditions, the Einödhof Castle ruins can still be visited.

The village remains largely rural to this day. Einödhof is home to two large farms and one smaller farm. The two large farms are located on the western edge of the village, in Alteinödhof. Neueinödhof is the name given to the small settlement in the east of the village, which consists of around eight single-family homes. The buildings on the northern side were all built during the 20th century, and those on the southern side during the 21st century.
