A new, elegant and sophisticated restaurant with reasonable prices, "CHALETGINEPRO," has opened. We stopped on the way down: two delicious first courses, a shared mixed fried dish, water, and two coffees for €30. The restaurant owner was very kind and even brought us two hot sandwiches, seeing how hungry we were. Very nice, he said he'd just opened and was planning to create a space for bicycles and motorcycles.

The lake is reminiscent of its big brother, Lake Garda, only it's not quite as crowded. The setting and vegetation are almost identical. The harbor of Iseo is definitely worth a visit to unwind. I think the light is more beautiful in the morning because you don't see it from the front!

The sacred building has been documented on the ridge above Sulzano since the 14th century. Unfortunately, the chapel is closed by default – at least, we were denied access to the interior. Rest areas are located on both sides of the building, where you can enjoy the historic flair and the views. The refuge of the same name is directly connected to the chapel. Santa Maria is one of the stops on the "Sentiero 3V" (Three Valleys Trail, white and blue markings). https://visitlakeiseo.info/en/arts-and-culure/the-shrine-of-santa-maria-del-giogo-st-mary-of-giogo-in-sulzano
