After a strenuous climb, a rewarding view of the Rhine valley and Switzerland on one side, and of Schwarzbachtal and the Black Forest on the other side. You can't help but stop! Fantastic 😍!!!

The Gupfen is a 780-meter high elevation south of Bannholz near Weilheim and the highest elevation of the Hubgerberg. In good weather, you have a beautiful view of the Swiss Alps, the Black Forest, the Hotzenwald, and the Rhine Valley. A nice stopping point with a pavilion, seating. A barbecue area. Barbecuing is prohibited due to prolonged drought. A place I want to come back to!!!

A nice place to stop. Not only can you charge your e-bike for free and get it repaired at the self-service station, but there's also a bistro with drinks and ice cream, as well as chicken nuggets and fries.

Just outside Birndorf, the cemetery and its modern, bright chapel are located on a small hill. The view down into the Rhine Valley and the Swiss Jura is wonderful, and there are shady benches and two amusing sculptures.
